I had a lot of fun doing the Ginger Blossom FQ giveaway but even more fun in the last few days getting to see the winner obviously enjoying the prize. Christine was the big winner and she was kind enough to share these pics of her. Can any of you relate? There is nothing like the delivery of beautiful new fabric:) Thanks for sharing Christine.
I'm pooped! What a day...this is what happens when the sun doesn't make an appearance. Just got this quilt pieced and quilted and I'm ready for a rest. I made several quilts last fall when Deer Valley first came out and when I saw a fabric bundle for sale on Etsy a few weeks ago I decided to do another. Love the colors. More pics are up in my Etsy shop. Just a few hours now standing between me and Mad Men:)
Well it really isn't me to wish for "bad" weather but this cooler, overcast weekend has me in the mood for sewing. Without temptations of sun and pool I can easily spend full days in my studio sewing away! Yesterday I got this new one quilted. These are the new Patricia Bravo fabrics from Art Gallery Fabrics called Paradise. Have you ever used Art Gallery Fabrics? They are gorgeous!! They even print "Feel the Difference" on the selvage and when you do feel them you will know why. So, so smooth and soft to the touch.
Also want to tell you that this pattern is from a fellow Etsy quilter Quiltville and the pattern is called Meadow Blocks. It uses just 16 fat quarters and goes together SUPER FAST! If you're looking for a fast project that will show off all the popular larger scale prints this is a pattern for you.
